what is a will?
Simply put, a will is a set of instructions.
Think about this: what happens to your things when you die? And if you have kids, who takes care of them? Who has a say? You're not around make those decisions, but something needs to happen.
That’s why you leave a will. So you have a say in those decisions. You are making those decisions way in advance so others don’t have to guess what you would do.
But why does any of it matter if you’re gone?
Well, if you have people you care about, then it matters. What would happen if people don’t agree on what should happen to your things or who should take care of your children, and you’re not around to give any input? It could lead to some bitter arguments. A will prevents that from happening.
